Mad Sheep Disease

The bully boys are out there In the playground once again Trying to gain moral high ground But their reasoning’s insane Their arsenals are built They have to justify the loot Now Bush and Blair can’t wait To flex their penis substitutes No more hate No more war Use weapons of mass destruction As an invasion excuse And think we’re all so stupid That we can’t see through their ruse Their feeling and compassion Is nothing but a fake The only WMDs they’ll find Are the WMDs they’ll take No more hate No more war The economies are shaky They could both do with a boost But money doesn’t come from peace This is no time for truce They need to show their products off Where better than TV? Welcome all to Arms EXPO Iraq 2003 No more hate No more war

When the tanks rumble in As you lie in bed When the menfolk have been Dragged away or shot dead When the heating comes From buildings ablaze in your town When you’re firmly at the bottom And still being pushed down When you have no hope And you have no future Death is no deterrent at all When you have no homeland To call your own Forced to live in shanty towns Where nothing can grow When no one seems to listen To your pleading voice When you’re pushed to the point Where you have no choice When you have no hope And you have no future Death is no deterrent at all

Flight 77 02:10
Nine thirty-eight on a Tuesday morn A hole blasted in the Pentagon News reported what was going on No mention of a passenger plane Soon cameras appeared on the scene Showing the world all that had been But the hole, the smoke, all that we’ve seen Is inconsistent with a passenger plane What happened to flight 77? Where have all the people gone? As time passed the official tale Got ever more unbelievable With all the holes they tried to fill Adamant that it was a passenger plane Explaining why the remains weren’t there First said they melted in the fire Then evaporated into the air Not feasible for a passenger plane What happened to flight 77? Where have all the people gone? Eye witnesses have been ignored Unless they back the official word What others saw and others heard Doesn’t sound like a passenger plane Looking at photos of the wall The hole it made was far too small Don’t seem to be made by a plane at all More cruise missile than passenger plane What happened to flight 77? Where have all the people gone?

Ashford 02:45
Road upon road of similar houses Containing lives that are much the same Double glazing, a veneer of panache Individuality bought through window frames With nothing to do the kids hang at the station Or walk round the streets aimlessly en masse When one of them feels like being a rebel Leave their Nike at home and wear Adidas In Ashford When you’re older there aren’t many more options Stroll down the road to the local pub If you don’t fancy that well even the telly Beats the church social or select golf club Sunday morning and it’s time for worship So the men pay homage to their cars Get them bright and shiny for the neighbours ’cause, let’s face it, they won’t go far From Ashford A suburban town like many others If you’re out late bored cops will give you strife Where drink and drugs are the only way to fill The gap left where Ashford sapped your zest for life If you don’t want to join the living dead It’s while you’re still young that you must act Next time you find yourself near the station Jump on a train and don’t ever go back To Ashford, land of the dead Ashford, screwed with my head Ashford, suburbia scares Ashford, don’t ever want to go back there
